How We Manage
To prevent air quality from being adversely affected, we monitor flue gas emissions from our production activities and take necessary actions to remain within legally prescribed limits. To reduce NOx emissions from glass furnaces, we use combustion systems that guarantee low-NOx levels and monitor emissions of our high-capacity production facilities online. We record compliance of all our facilities with local limits via periodic measurements and reporting. We are continuously working on emission reduction through primary measures under the coordination of our Research, Development & Quality Function. While creating sustainable value, we understand our responsibility towards our planet and take action accordingly.

Monitoring and Reporting
NOx emission levels in furnaces are monitored in all Şişecam production activities and are declared annually in our CDP Report and Sustainability Report.
