Under our Şişecam Waste and Circular Economy Policy, we completed Phase-1 of our Integrated Waste Site Management Pilot Project in 2021. Phase-1 includes the digital traceability and waste management initiated at Mersin Soda and Kromsan Plants and Glassware Eskişehir Plant.
In line with the positive results from the current pilot projects, we started short-term implementation at five additional facilities (Glass Packaging Mersin, Flat Glass Mersin, Bulgaria, India, Glassware Kırklareli) in 2022 as a continuation of our new practices in the coming period. We aim to further expand our waste monitoring approach in a way that supports the Şişecam Circular Economy Policy.
