How We Manage
Şişecam committed to reducing the adverse effects of hazardous chemicals and related operations on the environment in its Environment and Energy Policy published in 2014. To ensure that our suppliers comply with the principles of chemicals management specified under the Corporate Environmental Management System, our Chemicals Management Procedure was published in 2021 on our intranet in three languages: Turkish, English, and Russian. The procedure includes all applicable rules related to the supply, storage, use, and disposal of chemicals, as well as the minimum criteria and risks in the selection of chemicals.

Monitoring and Reporting
We monitor all activities related to chemicals and work on circular economy and efficiency practices. Information on chemicals management is shared with our stakeholders every year in our Sustainability Report.
